Filing on Behalf of Clients?

If you file workers compensation Quarterly Reports and pay premiums for multiple businesses, L&I considers you a Third Party Representative (TPR). Please review the online filing options below to select the best method to file on behalf of your clients.

QuickFile

Go to Lni.wa.gov/Quickfile and enter the UBI and account number to file each client’s report individually. QuickFile is only available for filing current quarterly reports.

My L&I Claim & Account Center

  1. Create a My L&I account. This will allow you to access multiple clients with a single User ID and password. If you need assistance signing in to the Claim & Account Center Padlock through My L&I, please contact Web Customer Support at WebSupport@Lni.wa.gov or call 360-902-5999 weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific).

  2. Fill out the Authorization to Access on Behalf of Employer form (F242-431-000).
  3. Prepare an electronic spreadsheet with your client list. See a sample template (37.5 KB XLS).
  4. Send an email to QuarterlyFiling@Lni.wa.gov requesting access. Please include the following:
    • Your business contact information (name, email, phone number).
    • A scanned signed copy of the authorization form (or fax a copy to 360-902-4988).
    • The spreadsheet with your client list.
  5. L&I will notify you when your request is processed. Please wait for an email confirmation with further instructions.

Bulk filing

Create a secure account through the Claim & Account Center (steps 1 – 5 above). When you receive confirmation that your client list has been created, you will have access to file on behalf of all your clients in a single transaction and payment.
