Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee (WCAC)

The Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee (WCAC) was created by the Washington State Legislature in 1971 (RCW 51.04.110 (www.leg.wa.gov)). The WCAC members advise and serve as a sounding board for the Director of L&I and the Assistant Director for Insurance Services on matters pertaining to the state's workers' compensation system.

Members include representatives from business, organized labor, self-insured employers and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA).

The WCAC meets at least every quarter. Meeting topics include:
