L&I is now offering financial incentives to employers who help get their injured workers back to work in a light duty, transitional job while they recover.

Eligible employers can be reimbursed for up to 50% of the injured worker's wage, and for the cost of instruction, tools and clothing the worker needs to do the transitional job.

The premiums and costs of Stay at Work will not be included in Retro adjustment calculations.

We will soon have reimbursement forms for you to fill out, but you could be eligible to receive reimbursements for any qualifying work performed from June 15, 2011, onwards.
