How can I file electronically?

There are 3 options to file electronically:

• Enter bills through PEB using the Direct Entry application NEW, see PEB registration.
• Upload billing files directly through PEB, see PEB registration.

How do I register through an intermediary/clearinghouse?

To register through an intermediary/clearinghouse follow these steps:

1. Apply for an L&I provider account, if you don't already have one by completing a Provider Account Application and Notice form (605 KB PDF / 3 min).
2. Complete an Electronic Billing Authorization (94 KB PDF) form.
• Note: If someone else is going to receive your remittances, complete a Power of Attorney for Electronic Remittance Advice (6 KB PDF).
3. Coordinate with your clearinghouse before you begin sending bills.

L&I will notify the clearinghouse that it is authorized to bill on your behalf.
