Provider Express Billing login
You have two options to file electronically:
1. You can bill directly through Provider Express Billing (PEB), see PEB registration OR
2. You can go through an intermediary/clearinghouse, see Clearinghouse registration.
What is Provider Express Billing?
A secure way to submit bills for injured workers' compensation and/or retrieve remittances online. Crime victim's billing is not available throught PEB.
Benefits of using Provider Express Billing
- Your billings are received and processed faster.
- Electronic remittances are available sooner.
- Billings and electronic remittances are securely transmitted and
- Reduces keying errors.
Before using Provider Express Billing
Complete these steps:
- Acquire billing software that can create or be modified to create an ASCII text file in either L&I's current formats or the national HIPAA-compliant formats.

- Apply for a provider account with L&I, if you don't already have one.
- Complete an Electronic Billing Authorization form (F248-031-000).
- Register with SecureAccess Washington.
- While in SecureAccess Washington, on the Services page, select the "Add Service" button (It's on the left side of the page.)
- On the Add Service page, look for "Labor & Industries" from the list of agencies and select "view."
- On the "Apply for access to a service" page, look for Provider Express Billing and select "apply."
- Follow the four steps to create your secure L&I profile.
- After you've finished creating your profile, you can select "Provider Express Billing" to access your claim or account information.
- Submit electronic billing test file(s) until approved to submit production files.
