How to become an interpreter
To interpret for injured workers
- Be certified as an interpreter, provide a copy of your credentials.
- Get an L&I provider account number. Complete the Provider Account Application and Form W-9.
- Complete the Submission of Provider Credentials for Interpretive Services form.
- Submit the items above, at the same time, to:

To interpret for crime victims
- Be certified as an interpreter, provide a copy of your credentials.
- Get an L&I provider account number. Complete the Provider Account Application and Form W-9 for Crime Victims.
- Complete the Submission of Provider Credentials for Interpretive Services form.
- Submit the items above, at the same time, to:

To prevent payment delays: Please notify us of any changes to your address, or business status:
- Complete the Provider Accounts Change Form.
- Mail your completed form to the L&I address on the form.
