Workers' Comp Rules

Chapter 296-17 WAC, contains rules applicable to workers’ compensation insurance coverage (industrial insurance) that employers in the state of Washington must provide for their workers.

These workers' compensation rules (www.leg.wa.gov) are referred to as "sections" and the complete body of information as the Workers’ Compensation Underwriting Manual.

These rules include:

• Audit and record keeping.
• Rates and the rating system.
