Cynthia Harris has served as Assistant Director for Administrative Services since November, 2005. Her responsibilities include overseeing management services, financial services, research and data services, facilities, contracts, legal services and administrative information technology services.

Prior to joining L&I, Cynthia was with Employment Security as Assistant Commissioner for Human Resources. She also had served as Assistant Commissioner for Administrative Services at ESD and as executive director for Behavioral Health Resources, a large mental health organization serving Thurston and Mason counties. She serves on the Board of Directors for Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma.

Cynthia lives in Tacoma with her youngest daughter, Vanessa and their two beagles, Ricki and Rhoda. She has two grown children Peter and Erica.
