Seeking experienced application programmers/developers with web development technology in .Net environment.

Job Summary:

This senior professional level position is responsible for developing pieces of the Field Audit Computer Technologies (FACT) application currently under construction. This project requires analysis, design, and iterative development and verification during the project, and ongoing maintenance upon completion of the application.

 

The Information Technology Specialist will:
  • Work independently and collaboratively in support of the Field Audit Computer Technology (FACT) project.
  • Evaluate, document and coordinate communication related to project issues; help monitor progress in resolving issues.
  • Prioritize assignments under the guidance of the FACT project manager, assist with plans, schedules, and identification of tasks.
  • Participate in meetings with business area customers and the project team, maintain documentation related to the project, and is responsible for all phases of system development.
  • Act as technical liaison between the project and the Employer Accounting Systems (EAS) portion of the Employer Accounting Systems /Medical Information Payment Systems Core Team.
  • Assist other EAS team members by providing technical coaching and mentoring related to the FACT application.
  • Analyze and complete estimates for possible future system enhancements introduced by customers.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in business consulting and modular component software construction and recent experience with web development technology in the .Net environment.

 

Knowledge of:

Security requirements related to transporting corporate data on mobile devices, general knowledge of the Natural/ADABAS mainframe environment, and technical infrastructure and architecture standards.

 

Technical skills in some or all of the following:

VB.Net, XML, WebServices/Remoting, Winforms, Webforms, .Net framework (2.0 preferred); and has knowledge of Visual Basic 7, VBScript (Visual Basic Script), JavaScript, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Visual Source Safe, HTML (Hypertext mark-up language), TestTrack Pro, the Microsoft suite of programmer productivity tools and project management tools.
