Are you an experienced web application developer who enjoys building and troubleshooting dynamic web sites and web-facing applications? Are you at home working on multi-disciplinary teams? Do you view customers as the driving force behind successful web sites and applications? If so, L&I wants to talk with you about joining our agency web team. You will be working with specialists in UI design, usability, content management and information technology. We manage L&I’s Internet and Intranet sites and collaborate with IT specialists in developing web applications that are highly useful and easy to use. Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform technical tasks in MS SQL Server, .Net, ASP and JavaScript
  • Develop, manage and troubleshoot web sites and application interfaces
  • Develop cross-browser compatible Web-based solutions
  • Provide quality assurance for L&I’s Internet and Intranet
  • Work with and create Web standards
  • Work with customers to define, develop and test system requirements
  • Facilitate the creation of business and technical requirements and documents results. Translate business requirements into programming and development specifications.
  • Stay abreast of trends in web technologies and recommend steps to keep L&I’s Web sites relevant, easy to use and maintain.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration


Desired level of experience:

The preferred candidate should have a minimum of four years’ experience in developing web applications.
