Your reward is that you’ve made a positive difference in the lives of injured workers as the Healthcare Policy & Payment Methods Manager. Managing healthcare policy and payment method development for reimbursing healthcare providers who treat injured workers, you’ll face the demand to find balance between controlling medical costs and ensuring accessible, quality medical care.
About The Position: You’ll manage healthcare policy and payment method development and manage rules and policies affecting all providers of healthcare services covered under WA State Workers’ Compensation system. Provide consultative expertise in healthcare cost containment programs. Provide and coordinate high-level and sophisticated professional expertise in economic impact analysis, medical policy development, and use of automated decision support systems to work units, project teams, executives and interagency work groups. Coordinate critical decisions with state medical, hospital and other provider organizations. And, represent Dept. of Labor & Industries at statewide Technical Advisory Group that includes a wide spectrum of high-level medical association officials. What We Are Looking For:
