Overview of SHIP Grant Program

Course description

This workshop is an introduction to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health's (DOSH) Safety and Health Investment Projects (SHIP) Grant program. Each workshop will provide an overview of the SHIP program as well as application and review processes. Safety and Health Investment Projects (SHIP) grants are awarded to projects with the purpose of: Preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities and for the development and implementation of effective Return-to-Work programs for injured workers to reduce long-term disability in Washington State. Priority for funding will be given to proposals that involve the cooperation of employers and employees or their representatives, and 25% of funding will go for projects that specifically address the needs of small business.
