Project Summary

A two part project:

Phase I:  Identify the hazards, applicable codes and requirements, and review available training resources.  Conduct deli worker safety survey and analyze results. 

Phase II:  Develop and test, review and revise curriculum.  Produce video, train trainers and conduct training.  Distribute DVDs to deli workers, grocery stores and Washington public libraries.

Amount Awarded: $154,759
