- A cottonwood tree fell and struck a company truck, splitting the tree which then hit a worker who was setting up traffic cones in the road.
- A highway maintenance technician was removing a fallen tree from the side of a highway during strong winds when he was struck by a falling limb from a nearby tree.
- The owner of a tree service was doing storm cleanup work in strong winds when he was struck by a section of a tree that he was cutting down.
