2013 Workplace Safety and Health Calendar – Keeping Washington Safe and Working through the Years
"Keeping Washington Safe and Working through the Years," the Department of Labor & Industries' 2013 workplace calendar is now available. This historical-themed calendar celebrates 40 years of the Washington Industrial Safety and Health (WISHA) Act and features real Washington businesses and employees handling typical workplace hazards, with an emphasis on safety and health improvements over the past decades.
Twelve Washington businesses contributed to the calendar by allowing L&I to photograph workers on the job: Swedish Medical Center, Washington State Patrol, Roy Farms, Northwest Energetic Services, Bates Technical College's Commercial Truck Driving Program, Tobin & Riedesel Logging, Trident Seafoods, Modern Collision Rebuild & Service, RDH Building Sciences, Seaport Steel, Olympia Public Utilities, and FS&GS Services.
