Roofing Safety - Residential Construction Safety Videos

L&I is pleased to present Roofing Safety, the first of a series of safety videos for those in the residential construction industry. The video is intended to promote safe construction practices to help prevent injuries among roofers. To view the entire list of available videos, visit the online videos main page.

After viewing the video, the viewer will have an understanding of some of the safety and health regulations that apply to residential construction and specifically as they pertain to roofing safety. The viewer will be given examples of acceptable and effective safe roofing methods and equipment, and know where to locate further assistance.

Roofing Safety was  was developed by L&I safety professionals in partnership with the Residential Construction Subcommitee of the Construction Advisory Committee to WISHA.

To view the video over the Internet, you will first need a copy of RealPlayer.*   Once you have this loaded, you may want to read some tips on how best to view these videos on your computer.  Finally, you can click on the appropriate link below to view the video.  Hint - once the video is open in RealPlayer, RIGHT-click on your mouse & select "Zoom" and then "Full Screen".  The first time you do this, your screen will be optimized and then the video will fill your entire screen.
