Slip, Trips, and Falls for State Agencies

Course description

Injuries (and worker compensation claims) from falls are one of the most common experienced by state workers. This workshop will help you in the prevention of slips, trips, and falls at your workplace. Attendees will learn about the causes and contributing factors so that you can better recognize and evaluate these hazards, as well as educate others in your organization about them. Tools and techniques that can be used for prevention whether in an indoor or outdoor environment will also be reviewed. Attendees will discuss photos and case studies to apply their knowledge. Who should attend: This class is designed for safety or risk managers and those who provide supporting roles such as safety committee chairs and members.
