Course description
For a small employer even a minor accident can have a significant impact on the company's bottom line. This workshop provides a basic overview of how accidents can eat into a company's profitability and how you can mitigate the chance of accidents and help control your claims costs including: True costs of an accident Three simple and useful tools to help prevent injuries and illnesses Hazard assessment Accident Prevention Program Safety Meetings Three simple and useful tools to help manage your claims costs Written Claims Management Program Communication strategies Return-to-work opportunities What resources are available through L&I to help you develop your safety and claims management programs
