Find an apprenticeship program in Washington State
Use our online Apprenticeship Registration and Tracking System (ARTS) database to look for a program to apply to by using one of two methods:
- By county - View or Print a report of those apprenticeship programs available in the county where you plan on living and working. (RECOMMENDED)
OR
- By occupation - Print a report of those apprenticeship programs that provide training in the occupation you are interested in. Be aware that there can be multiple names for the same occupation.
Once you have the listing of programs, you will need to:
- Decide which occupation that you want to apply for.
- Contact the program/programs listed with each occupation and determine if they are taking applications .
- If they are taking applications, then follow their procedure(s) for applying .
- Apply to all programs that may be taking applications for the occupation(s) that you want to get into.

- Get
contact information for apprenticeship programs registered with Washington
State to find out:
- If they are accepting applications.
- How to apply to become an apprentice in that program.
- Status of apprentices.
- Status of employers.
- Status of training agents.
- Status of committee members.
- Occupations and general information about them.
- Program standards.
