L&I issues infractions to contractors or plumbers for violations of Washington State laws requiring:
- contractors to be registered (RCW 18.27) with L&I,
- plumbers to be certified (RCW 18.106) with L&I,
- and other related infractions.
Note: By the end of February 2008, the Look Up a Contractor, Electrician or Plumber online search will include infraction information. You will then be able to look up a contractor or plumber and see any infractions that have been issued to them.
