The purpose of the Elevator Advisory Committee is to advise the department on the adoption of rules that apply to conveyances; methods of enforcing and administering this chapter; and matters of concern to the conveyance industry and to the individual installers, owners, and users of conveyances.
The elevator advisory committee members are appointed to a four-year term, beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2015. The elevator advisory committee meets on the third Tuesday of February, May, August, and November of each year.
