Maritime Cranes
L&I's Maritime Crane Program has been in place since 1970 when OSHA was created. Currently there are 732 maritime cranes that are certified in Washington State. These are cranes that work in waterfront operations.

The Maritime Crane Certification Board meets twice yearly, in April and October. Maritime Applications must be received by March 15 for the April session and September 15 for the October session.
