• The fee is $55.90.
• You must pay by credit card (VISA/MC). No debit cards.
• You must not have any outstanding, unpaid infractions with L&I.
• You must have an active Journey Level Plumber Certificate on file with us.
• You must have a copy of your certificate of completion from the medical gas training course or a copy of your active NITC card on file with us.

Before you apply online, you will need the following:

• Your Social Security number.
• Your credit card handy.

What L&I will do:

• Verify that the requested information is on file with the department.
• Once approved, mail a notice requesting an additional pro-rated licensing fee.

• You must pay by credit card (VISA/MC - credit option only).
• The renewal fee is $83.60.
• You must mail your Affidavit of Continuity to us to complete your renewal.
• You must have an active Journey Level Plumber Certificate on file with us.
• If you are renewing after your expiration date and your renewal is not more than 90 days late, your renewal fee is $167.20.
• You may not renew online if your certificate has been expired more than 90 days.
• You must not have any outstanding, unpaid infractions with L&I or a collection agency.
• If your certificate is suspended for any reason, you may not renew online and you must contact us about reinstating it.

Before you proceed to renew online, you will need the following:

• Your 12-digit license number.
• An active license (not suspended or canceled).
• Required documents on file with the department.
• Your credit card handy.
