What is the Logon ID and Password system?
It is a free password-driven system where our clients are not required to pay a fee to sign up to use the system (unlike the digital certificate system). The only fee is the $40 required to file each Prevailing Wage Intent or Affidavit online.
Will there be any cost?
You do not have to pay to use this service. However,
you will still pay the $40 fee for each online transaction via credit card.
How does this system work with filing online?
You follow these steps to establish a logon ID and a secure password, which will allow you free routine access to the page to file Intents and Affidavits.
How do I register for the Logon ID and Password system?
Click here to go to a page that will allow you to register
for a logon ID and password.
What if I already have a digital certificate to file Intents and Affidavits online?
Even if you have a digital certificate and have been filing through Transact Washington, you can also file online using the Logon ID and Password system. Just follow the instructions in #5 above to register.
If I make changes to my contact information in the Prevailing Wage Intents and Affidavits system, will that affect my account with Transact Washington digital certificate account?
Changing your contact information through the PWIA application will change your information in PWIA only. It will not change the information stored with Digital Signature Trust. This information can only be changed through the Transact Washington site.
