L&I is getting ready to unveil changes to the PWIA Intents & Affidavits online filing system.
In March 2011, L&I updated the PWIA Filing System and we want to let know what has changed.
This online guide to the "PWIA Intents & Affidavits Filing System" will give you a tour of the improvements to PWIA.

Prime contractor must file first
The prime contractor must file before any sub-contractors can file their Intent for the same project.
For future projects filed using the new PWIA system, the Prime Contractor (Prime) will need to file, and have approved, their Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages (Intent) before any sub-contractors can file their Intent for the same project.

New look and feel
An updated interface provides new options for managing your projects.
Manage your projects more easily with the improved Home Page. The main menu screen will clearly list your Intent and Affidavit forms, as well as display the status of your forms.
