Even if the business does find out that the worker has filed a safety complaint with L&I, it is against the law for them to discriminate against the worker for reporting unsafe conditions at work. If this happens, L&I can help. Here's how: File a Safety and Health Discrimination Complaint and/or call the nearest L&I office.
