Introduction to Rates and Claims Management w/WSAW & ERTW


Reduce the overall cost to both employer and worker with an effective claims-management strategy when a worker suffers a work-related injury or illness. Basic claims-management principles will be covered including:

  • How claims affect your premium rates.
  • The roles and responsibilities of employers, workers, physicians and claims managers.
  • how return-to-work strategies can reduce claims costs
  • gaining Preferred Worker status . 

A representative from the Stay at Work (WSAW), Preferred Worker, and Early Return To Work (ERTW) programs will talk about saving money on workers' comp and getting up to $10,000 reimbursed for light-duty wages. For more information register online at or contact Instructor: (425-290-1364).
