The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has found our rules regarding exit routes and employee alarm systems not at least as effective as the Federal rule. The adopted changes will make our rule as effective as the Federal equivalent. The adopted language in WAC 296-800-310 will make our rule as effective as the Federal equivalent. The changes were adopted 9/2/2008 and became effective on 11/2/2008.518.
