Labor & Industries moving office to Yakima Avenue location

YAKIMA -- The state Department of Labor & Industries will move its Yakima service center into new office space on Yakima Avenue near the city center during the weekend of June 28 and 29.

The new offices, located in the old Yesterday's Village building at 15 W. Yakima Avenue, will be open for business as usual on June 30 in the new space. The move will enable the agency to better serve its customers and provide the agency with expanded office space, additional front counter area for walk-in business and improved parking and public access.

The agency's telephone numbers will not be affected by the move. A map to the new location may be obtained by contacting Linda Amundson, regional services manager, at 509-454-3706.
