Labor & Industries schedules open house at new Moses Lake office

MOSES LAKE -- The state Department of Labor & Industries will host an open house at the agency's new service center in Moses Lake from 4 to 6 p.m. on July 29 to familiarize community members with agency services, according to Julie Perales, regional services manager.

The agency moved the office from Ephrata in early May to provide improved customer access, parking and service, Perales said. The new office is located at 3001 W. Broadway, adjacent to Interstate 90.

The new office, including training and conference facilities, is more centrally located to the agency's Columbia Basin-area customer base.

The open house is intended to help employers, workers and other interested persons learn about L&I's services and staff. Area residents are invited to the open house to meet the staff and learn how L&I can help you with varied services ranging from workers' compensation and workplace safety and health to consultations and specialty inspections.

A map with directions to the new office is available by contacting Perales at 509-764-6910.
