Fee increases for L&I building services effective June 30 TUMWATER - A 4.05 percent fee increase that will apply to most of the Department of Labor and Industries' inspection, permitting, licensing and certification services within the building and construction industry will go into effect June 30. The fee increases, proposed earlier this year, will help offset inflation, department officials said. The increase covers services performed by the Department for electrical, elevator, contractor registration, plumbing and factory-assembled structures such as manufactured homes and recreational vehicles. Public hearings on the fee increases were held in April. Other rule changes also were adopted. ### [news/includes/pa.htm] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
