New minimum-wage poster now available on the Internet

A brand new minimum-wage poster, with both English and Spanish translations, is now available to be downloaded from the web. A printed version of the 8-by-11-inch poster will be available by Dec. 31, and will be mailed upon request. To receive one or more posters by mail, contact Carlena Anderson at 360-902-5315.

Also, new English and Spanish versions of a current required poster, "Your Rights as a Non-Agricultural Worker" or "Your Rights as an Agricultural Worker," will be available sometime early in the year. However, they will no longer display the specific minimum-wage rate. Instead, the posters will have general information about minimum-wage rules and about where to obtain the current wage rate.

The "Your Rights." posters continue to be required postings. Employers may want to supplement them now with the new, smaller minimum-wage poster, which will be reprinted each year.
