Public hearing added in Okanogan for pesticide rules
TUMWATER —The Department of Labor & Industries will hold a public hearing Sept. 3 in Okanogan on a proposed regulation that would require employers to provide blood testing for agricultural workers who handle certain types of pesticides.The newly added Okanogan hearing is one of eight being held around the state in late August and early September. It will be held at 1 p.m. at the Grainger Administration Building, 123 Fifth Ave. N., Okanogan. Spanish-speaking staff will be available to assist with translation.
