L&I adds sixth rate hearing

TUMWATER — The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) has added a sixth public hearing to take testimony on its proposed 3.8 percent hike in the average workers’ compensation premium rates for 2006.

The hearing will begin at 10 a.m., Oct. 24, and be held at L&I’s Tukwila office, 12806 Gateway Drive in Tukwila.

The complete hearing schedule is:
