L&I workshops focus on workplace safety

TUMWATER — Five new workshops focusing on workplace safety will be offered by the Department of Labor and Industries from October through December in six cities around the state.

The free workshops, aimed primarily at employers, will be available in Everett, Tukwila, Tacoma, Tumwater, Yakima, and Spokane. Workshop topics are:

• Accident Prevention Program
• Employer's Introduction to L&I
• Office Ergonomics
• Analyzing Lifting Tasks
• OSHA 300 - Recordkeeping
