Some L&I programs to be closed Oct. 11

TUMWATER – Staff and main phone lines for the Department of Labor & Industries’ (L&I) contractor registration, factory-assembled structures, and elevator programs will be unavailable Monday, Oct. 11. In addition, L&I’s Crime Victims Compensation program will also be closed for business that day. The programs will resume regular operations on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
The closures of these general fund programs are the result of temporary layoffs ordered by the Legislature to help balance the state budget.
All L&I offices and other programs will be open for regular business on Oct. 11.
