Employers must determine whether personal protective equipment is needed for employees who handle products.

Retailers sell the marijuana bud, concentrates, and marijuana-infused products in their final useable form to consumers in a retail store setting.

Some of the hazards that retail employees may face are:

  • Sprains and strains due to lifting and stocking products.
  • Workplace violence, robberies, and other crimes.
  • Slips, trips and falls.
