L&I's Maritime Crane Program has been in place since 1970 when OSHA was created. These are cranes that work in waterfront operations.

L&I's Maritime Crane Program has been in place since 1970, when OSHA was created. Currently there are 732 maritime cranes that are certified in Washington State. These are cranes that work in waterfront operations.
The Maritime Crane Certification Board meets twice yearly, in April and October. Maritime applications must be received by March 15 for the April session and Sept. 15 for the October session.
This list contains licensed companies who have at least one crane certifier who has fulfilled the requirements of WAC 296-56-60093 and WAC 296-304-180 and which held a valid business license on the date of certification by the Department. The list is an information resource only. Caution: No further assertions of insurance coverage, bonding, or other necessary licenses or certifications are to be implied.
