Psychosocial Determinants Influencing Recovery (PDIR) - This resource focuses on routine screening and methods to address psychosocial determinants influencing recovery (PDIR). PDIR includes normal reactions to, and behavioral factors associated with work injuries that can affect recovery. Many factors contribute to their development including individual distress tolerance and coping skills. These are highly variable and affect workers differently. Approved for three (3) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. L&I provides certificates of attendance for non-physician participants.

Surgical Guideline for Work-related Knee Injuries - This guideline reflects a best practice standard for surgical treatment of certain knee conditions sustained by injured workers treated in the Washington State worker’s compensation system under, Title 51 Revised Code of Washington (RCW). Consultant Education A three part series of presentations for providers giving second opinion consultations. Topics include rules, definitions, and the importance of tracking functional improvements. Additionally, both clinical and administrative components of performing a consultation and submitting it are covered. This course is one component to qualify for application or renewal as a Chiropractic Consultant. See a list of additional requirements. Approved for three (3) Continuing Education (CE) Credits in total, one credit each. L&I provides certificates of attendance.
