L&I adopted changes to the electrical rules governing the Electrical Board, appeals to the board, and the appeals process under WAC 296-46B-995 (WSR 22-06-076). L&I accepted a rulemaking petition requesting the rule changes. The changes clarify, simplify, and make the appeals process easier to understand and navigate. The new rules took effect April 1, 2022. An update on this rulemaking will be provided during the quarterly Electrical Board meeting.
