Labor & Industries (L&I) is considering amendments to increase fees by the fiscal growth factor of 6.51% for the public safety programs. This includes Contractor Registration, Electrical, Elevator, Factory Assembled Structures (FAS), and Plumber services. The fee increases are needed to cover operating costs for the programs. L&I filed a CR-101 Preproposal Statement of Inquiry on December 2, 2025 (WSR 25-24-091).

An update on the status of this rulemaking will be provided during the quarterly ESAC meetings.
