The Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council’s (WSATC) WAC/RCW Subcommittee will discuss rulemaking in response to Engrossed Second Substitute Senate Bill 5600 (E2SSB 5600) during the September 19 meeting. There are significant changes coming to the state’s registered apprenticeship system. You can help tailor these changes to meet the needs of your business or program. You can find out more about the changes during this meeting, and we urge your participation.

The first hour of the meeting will be devoted to the subcommittee’s defined scope of work. Stakeholders will be able to weigh in on impacts and unintended consequences.
