About the Conveyance Management Portal

In October, L&I’s Elevator Program will launch a new Conveyance Management Portal (CMP, or “Portal”) - that provides permitting, inspection, and other services to you and agency staff. Demonstrations for customers will start this summer, and training is set to begin in September.

Background

Since 2006, the Elevator Program’s current system provides permitting, inspection, and other information. The system does not provide the functions customers need and that inspectors and other staff use. The elevator industry needs a new, modern system, to meet those needs. The $3.52 million project for a new system is funded by state government and fee increases.

The Portal will include a secure customer access for you to manage your account.
