About the Conveyance Management Portal

L&I’s Elevator Program is creating a new Conveyance Management Portal (CMP, or Portal) - renovating the database that provides permitting, inspection, and other services to you and agency staff. Below is how you can take part, sign on for trainings, receive a newsletter, and other tasks.

Check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)!

Listening/Training Sessions

Listening sessions, opportunities for you to hear about the Portal, will be scheduled. This will also be the place for training materials that will assist in using the Portal. Check here for upcoming dates – and make sure to let your elevator industry friends and/or fellow building owners, property managers know about it.

November listening session dates.

Topic: Inspections

Background

Since 2006, the Elevator Program’s current system provides permitting, inspection, and other information. The system does not provide the functions customers need and that inspectors and other staff use. The elevator industry needs a new, modern system, to meet those needs. The $3.52 million project for a new system is funded by state government and fee increases.

The Portal, scheduled to go live in January 2024, will include a secure customer access for you to manage your account.
