About the Conveyance Management Portal

L&I’s Elevator Program is creating a new Conveyance Management Portal (CMP, or Portal) - renovating the database that provides permitting, inspection, and other services to you and agency staff. Below is how you can take part, sign on for trainings, receive a newsletter, and other tasks.

Check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), our Fact Page, and STAY TUNED for our upcoming Postcard!

The program will launch a new database in October (see below for project background). The Conveyance Management Portal (CMP or “Portal”) will have training and demonstrations for customers starting this summer.

Background

Since 2006, the Elevator Program’s current system provides permitting, inspection, and other information. The system does not provide the functions customers need and that inspectors and other staff use. The elevator industry needs a new, modern system, to meet those needs. The $3.52 million project for a new system is funded by state government and fee increases.

The Portal will include a secure customer access for you to manage your account.
